What do we rejoice in?

 As I dropped off my wife and girls at the airport, to start their 10 day adventure around Seattle, I was praying for them on the way home. Praying they find joy in their time together, good flights, logistical mercies, joyful memories, laughter, etc.

Luke 10:20 was put on my heart …

“Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this [……] but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” - Jesus

It may be service to God (as was the context in this passage) or it may be His underserved showers of earthly blessings – nonetheless, may we rejoice in greater things … what a treasure we were given that we so often take casually and for granted!
