Continued Growth

 

I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? (1 Corinthians 3:2–3 ESV)

May we never behave (as the NKJV reads) like "mere men". We were called for a purpose, to ultimately glorify God, so let us work diligently to avoid being trapped in complacency. Daily striving to seek God through His Word, and open our hearts to Him in prayer, asking Him to draw us closer in knowledge and relationship with Himself.

May He bring light into even our darkest holes, and breath life into us that we may yet continue to grow - all the while pointing towards Him.
