Sin & Judgment

Reading again through Deuteronomy, God's judgment, even if only seen for moments between generations of Grace, can be difficult to read (and even fully understand if we are being honest) ...

Yet it's just a sign of how so very little we understand the vile, wicked, and destructive nature that sin can bring in our lives, in others, and spread like a wildfire through the world.

We like to defend, call foul, excuse, and deflect ... rather than looking at the painful Truth ... how easy it is to claim wisdom and knowledge, when we have so very little of it from an eternal and universal perspective ...

Lord, increase my faith.
