Serving in Love, and Loving in our Serving

If serving seven years joyfully for human love is possible, surely serving the LORD should be the most joyful of all. If not, may we take time to meditate on the love of Christ and reflect on why we might feel reservations or emptiness in our service.

It’s also important to remember that serving isn’t limited to what we do within the church. Serving the body of Christ is indeed a beautiful calling, but everything we do—serving our family, excelling in our vocation, caring for our friends—is a reflection of our service to Christ.

May we strive to do all of this joyfully, sharing the love He has poured into us and pouring that love and truth back onto others.
